I think it turned out so beautifully and it’s going to look amazing in Sarah’s kitchen!.
To be fair, although Jack did destroy the sofa table, it was Chris who broke my second beloved mercury glass lamp!.We take that big basket and wedge it into this doorway here and it makes a nice little baby cage for us all to relax in..
I promise I’m going to finish restoring those hardwood floors one day.Until then, maybe another rug with a comfy rug pad is in order?.Until then, let’s get a rug pad for one of you!.

You can see it needs some of my weeding skills as well..So that’s one little corner checked off my list as looking presentable.
As you can see, though, I have a fair amount of space left to fill in to fulfill my flowery visions..The free mulch sure helps though.
