Next I took a paper towel and some.
rubbing alcohol.I used this small bottle of chalkboard paint from DecoArt for this one.
I do have a giant can of chalkboard paint as well, but I love having these little bottles around for smaller scale projects..I gave the whole thing 2 very imperfect coats.
At one point I started to paint a little too early and didn’t let the previous coat dry.It made the finish a little chunkier and messier, but it’s Halloween, so we’ll just say that now it looks extra spooky.
